JANUARY-FEBRUARY
Juried Photography Exhibition "Faces and Places of McPherson" in both VAAM Gallery and Heritage Gallery of the Opera House. January 12–February 28. Reception in honor of the photographers, Saturday, January 15, 5:30–7:00 pm. Come and see the photos and vote for your favorite photo for the People's Choice Award.

MARCH-APRIL
Serigraphs and print-making by David Brock in the Heritage Gallery of the Opera House, through March 31. Memorial Exhibit of the work of John Blake Bergers through May 30.

Exhibit of the work of the Fort Hays University Faculty in the VAAM Gallery through April 30.

MAY-JUNE
Figurative Ceramic Sculpture Show by Michaela Groeblacher, through June 30. Reception is Saturday, May 14, 6-8 pm.

In the Heritage Gallery, the memorial exhibit of John Blake Bergers continues through May 30. Reception is Sunday, May 22, 2-4 pm.

June 1, 2, 3, 9, Ceramics Class for Kids, 3rd-4th graders & 5th-6th graders. Instructors, Betty Jo Houchen and Jodi Houchen.

June–July 30, also in the Heritage Gallery, "From Eighteen to Eighty," an exhibit of paintings and photographs by Betty Jo Houchen. 8oth Birthday Celebration Reception, Sunday, June 5, 2–4 pm.

June 16, The documentary film "Who Does She Think She Is" examines women's struggle to juggle parenting and creativity, partnering and independence, economics and art. Do we have to choose between who we love and what we love? Discussion.

JULY-AUGUST
Guest artists Jeannette Seger and Patricia Neufeld exhibit July 1-August 31. Reception, Friday, August 26, 5-7 pm in the VAAM gallery.

July 11–15, Wood is Good–Wood Assemblage for Kids, 1st–5th graders. Instructor, Anne Nettleton, Salina.

VAAM Artist-Members are Artists-in-Residence at the Raymer Society of the Arts - Red Barn Studio in Lindsborg, Kansas, Sunday, July 17-Saturday, July 23. Reception Friday, July 22, in honor of the 10th Anniversary of their working arts residency.

Opening August 2 in the Heritage Gallery of the McPherson Opera House will be artwork of Rosella Ogg, Manhattan, Kansas. She taught at McPherson High School 1959–1964. Her exhibt continues through September 30. Reception for Jeannette Seger, Patricia Neufeld, and Rosella Ogg will be Friday, August 26.

SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER
Assemblages! exhibit by Nancy Masterson, Hutchinson, and Kurt Wolf, Salina, September 1–October 31. Reception, September 17.

NOVEMBER-DECEMBER
Holiday Show of Quilts by Sondra Tolle, McPherson, Colleen Westerman, Galva, Kristina Carlson, Lindsborg, and Karen Tolle, Galva area, in the Heritage Gallery and upper floors of the McPherson Opera House. The exhibit of 60 quilts continues through December 31.

Annual Holiday Gift Show by the VAAM artist-members of McPherson, Lindsborg, Inman, Moundridge, Newton, Emporia, Hutchinson.
